Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations, including patient safety, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do#

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes and support patient care programs.
• Facilitate a culture of energy, enthusiasm, and pride within the pharmacy.
• Assist with workflow management, customer service, and quality assurance tasks.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Location: Huntington Beach, California.

• Employment Type: Part-time.
• Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
