About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a significant role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to each patient while displaying empathy and compassion.
- Manage patient care programs to support customer health.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and pride.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations and eligibility requirements are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
