About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a retail setting. You will contribute to patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, and quality assurance while gaining professional experience. This is a part-time position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and your team.
- Support the pharmacy manager in developing staff by balancing assignments and addressing knowledge gaps.
- Identify business opportunities to drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
- Adapt to changes in a community healthcare setting.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Assist with patient care programs and help drive healthy outcomes.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid pharmacist intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one as required by the state.
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and reaching overhead.

- Location: Columbus, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay Range: $19.75 - $42.00 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, paid internship.
