Pharmacy Intern - Grad

About the role#

As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting the pharmacy team. This is a paid, part-time position for Summer 2026.

What you'll do#

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Support the pharmacy manager in developing support staff by identifying strengths and addressing knowledge gaps.
• Identify business opportunities to drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in a community healthcare setting to maintain high-quality care.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride.
• Assist with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory management.

What you'll need#

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid pharmacist intern or technician licensure, or in the process of obtaining it as required by the state Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching overhead.
