About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your academic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice. Under the guidance of a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide a broad overview of store, district, and regional operations. This role is focused on preparing you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist while supporting the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate patient care.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including key learning experiences and activities.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth, safe, and accurate daily operations.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care in all interactions.
- Support immunizations under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, as permitted by state regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Maintain inventory activities, such as cycle counts and returns, as directed by pharmacy leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Strong attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and ensure prescription accuracy.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel to other store locations within the market as needed.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
