About the role#
The Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP) internship offers hands-on experience in drug development. You will work alongside scientists to apply clinical pharmacology principles and pharmacometrics methodologies across our research and development portfolio. This program focuses on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), translational modeling, and model-informed drug development.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical pharmacology and medical literature reviews.
- Analyze PK, biomarker, preclinical, and clinical data.
- Build and analyze PK and PD models.
- Develop quantitative methodologies, including population PK/PD and quantitative systems pharmacology.
- Conduct model-based meta-analysis and create advanced data visualizations.
- Apply machine learning to integrate publicly reported and in-house data.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a MS, PharmD, PhD, MD, or similar degree in a life sciences-related discipline.
- Computational proficiency with experience in tools such as NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, R, Python, or MATLAB.
- Ability to work full-time for at least 12 weeks between May and September 2027.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Capability to work both independently and within a team.
- Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
