About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations while preparing you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation to support Pharmacists and Technicians.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly for prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Capacity to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
