About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care by managing pharmacy workflows, assisting with inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position allows you to gain professional experience while contributing to the quality of care provided to our patients.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and support caregivers and colleagues with empathy.
- Manage patient care programs and help patients stay healthy.
- Handle inventory management and daily pharmacy workflow tasks, excluding final prescription verification.
- Uphold standards for patient safety, professional practice, and quality assurance.
- Foster a positive team culture through enthusiasm and collaboration.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and bending.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.

- The position is part-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
