About the role#
The Nurse Extern I role provides hands-on patient care experience for nursing students. You will work within the Medical-Surgical department at Holy Family Hospital to build your clinical skills and prepare for your future nursing career.
What you'll do#
- Provide care for patients of all ages.
- Ensure care meets individual patient needs.
- Align your work with established standards of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Develop your clinical abilities in a hospital setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN program, or graduation from one of these programs within the last year.
- Successful completion of at least one clinical rotation.
- Successful completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, IL.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part time (PRN, part-time, or full-time schedules available).
- Shifts: Days, nights, or rotating shifts.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $25.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
