About the role#
This program supports nursing students graduating in Summer 2027 as they transition into their careers. You will start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester and move into a Registered Nurse position once you obtain your license. This is a full-time role based in Highland, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Perform nursing duties within Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department units.
- Provide patient care that aligns with facility core values.
- Transition from the Nurse Extern II role to a full RN position upon successful licensure.
- Work a 36-hour weekly schedule on the night shift from 7p to 7a.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in the United States without employment Visa sponsorship.
