About the role#
This Nurse Extern I position provides hands-on patient care experience for students currently enrolled in nursing school. You will work within the Medical-Surgical department to build your clinical skills and prepare for your future nursing career.
What you'll do#
- Care for patients of all ages.
- Ensure care meets individual patient needs.
- Align your daily work with established standards of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Enhance your clinical skills in a hospital setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN program, or graduation within the previous year.
- Successful completion of at least one clinical rotation.
- Successful completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Location & details#
- Location: Breese, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: PRN, part-time, or full-time options available with day, night, or rotating shifts.
- Compensation: $18.00 - $25.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
