About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition your academic learning into real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist by deepening your understanding of pharmacy operations, patient safety, and professional standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions.
- Contribute to a high-performing team by embracing a growth mindset and remaining receptive to feedback.
- Support pharmacy workflow procedures, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Maintain focus and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks to meet patient needs.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong focus and the ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
