About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will play a key role in patient care, ensuring a safe and effective environment while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting. This is a part-time, paid internship opportunity for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to help customers and patients maintain their health.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve health outcomes and deliver high-quality care.
- Facilitate a positive team culture characterized by enthusiasm and pride.
- Support core pharmacy functions, including inventory management, workflow coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Once state regulations are met, work toward providing patient immunizations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that may include nights and weekends.

- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- Relevant Majors: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, and Health Administration.
