About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for the Med Surg Unit in Edgewood. This is a paid, on-site position that offers the opportunity to gain clinical experience while working under the guidance of licensed nursing staff.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned patient group.
- Engage with the nursing team to help improve care delivery.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of your first clinical rotation.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
