About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse for the Cardiac Step Down Unit at the Fort Thomas hospital. This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from 7A to 7P.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Support the personal care and comfort of patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for your assigned group of patients.
- Engage with patients in activities related to their care.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills, along with effective verbal and written communication.
