About the role#
This position manages the GME software application and serves as the primary point of contact for student placements across the healthcare system. You will support the growth of medical education programs and ensure clinical rotation data is accurate and secure. This is a full-time role that operates on a hybrid schedule, with two days of remote work per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage the GME software application to house information for students, residents, and visitors.
- Coordinate clinical rotations and ensure they are entered into the system to track preceptor availability.
- Compile monthly statistics regarding the number and type of student rotations.
- Support the growth of medical education programs, including fellowships and residencies.
- Communicate policies and procedures regarding clinical rotations to learning institutions and students.
- Maintain and update affiliation agreements with schools and programs.
- Assist with literature searches and resource management for the medical library.
- Provide administrative support for CME programs and medical staff education.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or clinical field.
- Two years of customer service experience.
- Prior experience working with software database applications.
- Understanding of accreditation standards such as ACGME, Joint Commission, and CMS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
