About the role#
L3Harris is hiring an intern to join the finance team in Herndon. You will manage financial functions related to business acquisition and program execution. The work schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Handle financial tasks for business acquisition and program execution.
- Set up, validate, and generate complex customer invoices.
- Ensure all invoices are processed on time according to contract terms.
- Act as a daily point of contact for customers and provide billing guidance to internal teams.
- Perform invoice and account receivable reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Help with the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
- Attention to detail.

- Compensation: $21.00 to $41.50 per hour.
