About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Waco for the summer of 2026. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle. You will work alongside cross-functional engineering teams to support system design, testing, and operational analysis.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your findings.
- Analyze system requirements from users and end systems.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting methods.
- Present design activity plans and project status to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, or systems analysis and design.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off).
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
