About the role#
We are looking for students to join our team for a 12-month co-op term starting in January 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Waterdown, Ontario. You will support our manufacturing operations by ensuring systems are fully assembled and meet delivery deadlines.
What you'll do#
- Integrate, tune, and test complex electromechanical devices.
- Troubleshoot, rework, and repair hardware down to the component level.
- Document your work and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with other internal departments to keep projects moving.
- Work shifts as required to meet production schedules.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical or Electronics-based technician or technologist diploma program.
- Strong background in electronics and mechanics.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using various test equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Excel, and Word.
- Strong communication skills for professional interactions.
- Previous co-op experience in a manufacturing environment or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
