About the role#
We are looking for a Finance Co-Op Student to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. This is an 8-month, full-time, paid position starting in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Build and run financial models for forecasting and analysis.
- Assist with the monthly reporting cycle, account reconciliations, and documentation standards.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare tax provision working papers and assist with Canadian corporate tax returns.
- Help compile Scientific Research and Experimental Development expenditures and investment tax credit estimates.
- Support daily tax functions, such as monitoring instalments and reviewing assessment notices.
- Participate in internal audit projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian post-secondary institution focusing on finance, accounting, business, commerce, mathematics, statistics, actuarial sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience or understanding of financial analysis and reporting is a plus, as is experience with accounting systems.
Location & details#
- Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (8 months).
- Compensation: $23 - $26 hourly.
- Security: Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the enhanced reliability status level and pass assessment for the Controlled Goods Program and ITAR.
