About the role#
This internship provides students the opportunity to build business and technical skills within the accounting department. You will assist the Shared Services team with daily functions and continuous improvement projects. This is a part-time role during the academic year, approximately 15 hours per week, transitioning to a full-time position during the summer break.
What you'll do#
- Resolve AP automation software failures and handle manual processing.
- Support AR Cash application and post offsets to customer accounts.
- Process credit memos in SAP.
- Resolve past due invoices.
- Prepare Excel reports and assist with mail distribution.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associates or Bachelor’s program in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Sophomore year status or higher is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to work both independently and within a group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
