About the role#
The Amway North America Commercial Finance team works with business leaders to evaluate performance and support decision-making. As an intern, you will gain experience analyzing business results and understanding the drivers that influence market success. You will work on real-world financial projects and gain exposure to how financial decisions impact products, customers, and promotions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business performance and support Commercial Finance initiatives.
- Build and enhance SKU-level reporting dashboards to track sales trends and metrics.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activities.
- Assist with financial planning and forecasting processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and develop tools to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to finance and business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and business insights.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student who has completed junior year and is entering senior year by the start of the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Analytics.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand business drivers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working through ambiguity.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Ada, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site role. You must report to the office Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a remote-optional day.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
