About the role#
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will join the Data and Analytics team to help transform information into business insights. You will work alongside experienced analysts to address high-priority business challenges. This role offers exposure to leaders and stakeholders across the organization as you work on real business problems related to product performance, sales effectiveness, and market trends.
What you'll do#
- Use internal and external data sources to identify trends and uncover key performance drivers.
- Develop actionable insights and create scalable analytical solutions to support business decision-making.
- Analyze forecasting accuracy across markets and build a standardized reporting approach.
- Compare internal product sales performance against external market trends to find growth opportunities and performance outliers.
- Evaluate sales and marketing initiatives to identify factors that influence business performance.
- Present your findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between August 2027 and April 2028.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools, with a preference for Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
- Ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling abilities.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Ada Township, Michigan.
- The role is on-site Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a remote optional day.
- The term is Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time paid position.
