About the role#
The Vulnerability Management team supports the global technology environment at Amway, including web and mobile applications, infrastructure, and e-commerce systems. This internship provides hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and global cybersecurity projects. You will work with team members across multiple countries and time zones to help monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and use vulnerability management tools to support security initiatives.
- Analyze vulnerability management information to identify trends and risks.
- Develop ideas to improve current analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Support the integration of security tools into CI/CD platforms used by development projects.
- Collaborate with a global team, occasionally participating in evening calls to accommodate different time zones.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student who will have completed your junior or senior year by the start of the internship and will remain academically active throughout the program.
- You are pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- You have foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and information technology.
- You understand vulnerability management and scanning concepts, including monitoring and remediation.
- You possess data analysis and reporting skills.
- You understand CI/CD platforms and how security integrates into the development lifecycle.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Ada, Michigan.
- You must be able to report to the office Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
