About the role#
The Regulatory Affairs team helps bring nutrition products to global markets. As an intern, you will work with cross-functional partners in Research and Development, Supply Chain, and Scientific Affairs. This role provides exposure to a global business environment and experience with international regulatory requirements.
What you'll do#
- Support global assessments for ingredients and raw materials.
- Gather and summarize data on ingredient acceptability, usage limits, and registration requirements from various markets.
- Analyze regulatory requirements and registration timelines to help project teams make informed decisions.
- Evaluate current assessment processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and documentation quality.
- Develop recommendations to enhance reporting and information gathering practices.
- Present findings and insights to guide product development teams.
What you'll need#
- Completed junior year by the start of the internship.
- Anticipated graduation between December 2027 and April 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret information from multiple sources.
- Experience managing data, conducting research, or working with technical documentation is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship takes place during Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Ada, Michigan.
- Work is on-site Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
