About the role#
As a Program Finance Intern, you will support the financial operations tied to business acquisitions and program execution. You will manage customer billing, ensure accuracy in accounts receivable, and provide financial guidance to internal teams. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Alpharetta.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial tasks for business acquisitions and program execution.
- Set up, validate, and generate complex invoices for customers.
- Ensure invoices are completed on time and follow contract terms.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and invoices to maintain billing accuracy.
- Support the cash application process through research.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Participate in projects to improve existing financial processes.
- Communicate with customers and provide billing guidance to the Contracts and Program Finance teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and cost or schedule development.
- Experience or coursework in financial modeling, corporate forecasting, or business acquisitions.
- Familiarity with contract compliance and negotiation.
- Experience with customer or management reporting.

- Location: Alpharetta, Georgia.
- Schedule: This role follows a 9/80 schedule, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
