About the role#
L3Harris is hiring an intern to support the Communications team. You will help develop messaging and communications materials while working with internal stakeholders on company announcements and integrated campaigns. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Write, edit, and publish content for email, newsletters, the intranet, and other digital platforms.
- Research and prepare briefing materials, background documents, and Q&A content.
- Track media coverage and report on communications metrics and engagement.
- Maintain communications tools including intranet pages, SharePoint sites, distribution lists, and editorial calendars.
- Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and internal teams to support key initiatives.
- Monitor trends and suggest improvements to content or processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in public relations, communications, radio/television, journalism, or a related field.
- Knowledge of AP Stylebook guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with collaboration tools like SharePoint.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Location & details#
- This role is remote.
- The work schedule is 9/80, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
