About the role#
Methodist Hospital is hiring a CT imaging student for a PRN position. This role supports the diagnostic imaging department by providing direct patient care and assisting with clerical tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care for designated imaging patients.
- Perform procedures and assist with personal care.
- Observe patients and report any changes to the technologist.
- Keep the department surroundings clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
- Organize daily tasks and manage your workload.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited imaging program.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Active Indiana State Department of Health Radiology Student Permit, if applicable.
- Knowledge of RIS and PACs for training and problem resolution.
- Understanding of personal hygiene and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide care appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients.
