About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work on the design and development of electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will gain experience across various aircraft platforms and systems, including avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet project requirements.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, such as NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Palm Bay, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, providing every other Friday off.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
