About the role#
Albacore Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the team for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Scale vehicle production to double-digits.
- Conduct international demonstrations to NATO.
- Blow up a ship (legally).
What you'll need#
- Working towards a B.S., M.S., or M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field.
- Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Experience with electrical tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic loads.
- Experience in the design, implementation, bring-up, and debugging of electronic systems.
- Familiarity with integrating processors, sensors, interfaces, and other electrical components.
- Knowledge of electrical CAD software, with a preference for Altium.
- Strong first-principles engineering mindset and a practical design approach.
- Detail-oriented approach with solid documentation and reporting skills.
- Exposure to high-speed digital, analog, or power electronics design.
- U.S. work authorization and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
