About the role#
Space Dynamics Laboratory is seeking an Electrical Engineering Assistant to join the Strategic Military Space Division. You will work alongside engineers to develop, assemble, and test mission hardware. This role involves supporting project reviews, deliveries, and team integration. You will own your assigned responsibilities while working under the guidance of a mentor.
What you'll do#
- Build and test hardware for space and satellite systems.
- Participate in project reviews and support hardware deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal and external electronics teams.
- Take ownership of specific tasks assigned by your mentor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Utah State University as an Electrical Engineering major.
- At least one year of school remaining before graduation.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Status as a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
