About the role#
The Electrical Engineer Intern will join our team in Bridgeton, Missouri, for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid internship focused on the design, fabrication, and modification of electrical and electro-mechanical components and systems. You will work on projects involving electrical analysis, circuit design, and vehicle electrical integration while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Support and participate in technical electrical engineering activities.
- Perform system-level and component-level design and integration tasks, including block diagrams, simulation, and testing.
- Develop, analyze, and document various electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products and design corrective modifications.
- Work with the engineering team to conceptualize systems and electrical designs.
- Develop custom fixtures for test, evaluation, and manufacturing of electrical equipment.
- Communicate project progress and technical issues to company personnel and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or above in a Bachelor’s program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Physics.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to read and understand commercial or military electrical drawings.
- Preferred: At least one related internship, co-op, or industry experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
