About the role#
Space Dynamics Laboratory hires a Utah State University accounting student to help with daily finance operations. This position offers practical experience through our Student Scholar Program, which includes workshops and outreach activities. You will work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 20-40 hours per week during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounts payable tasks.
- Perform data entry.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare accounting schedules using Microsoft Excel.
- Support daily accounting operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Utah State University as an accounting major.
- Status as a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Ability to work with MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-motivation and the ability to follow directions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preference for students in their sophomore or junior year.
