Accounting Intern - Year-Round

About the role#

ARKA Group, LP is seeking a Year-Round Accounting Intern to join the Finance department. This position offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Financial Planning & Analysis while working alongside a team that supports the national security space enterprise.

What you'll do#

• Perform vendor invoice reconciliation.
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with weekly and monthly forecasting activities.
• Support budget and cost analysis.
• Interface with internal departments, including Program Finance, Business Management, and Supply Chain.

What you'll need#

• Current status as a rising sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Modality: This is an on-site position.
• Status: Paid, full-time internship.
