About the role#
ARKA Group, LP is seeking a Year-Round Accounting Intern to join the Finance department. This position offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Financial Planning & Analysis while working alongside a team that supports the national security space enterprise.
What you'll do#
- Perform vendor invoice reconciliation.
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with weekly and monthly forecasting activities.
- Support budget and cost analysis.
- Interface with internal departments, including Program Finance, Business Management, and Supply Chain.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Location: Danbury, Connecticut.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
