About the role#
Anduril Industries is seeking Electrical Engineer Interns for a paid, 12-week, in-person internship during the summer of 2027. This role involves contributing to the design and development of defense technology systems, supporting both new developments and active deployments.
What you'll do#
- Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system-level integration.
- Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver functional products.
- Manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages of development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school afterward for at least one term.
- U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
- Ability to complete the full 12-week in-person internship.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
- Proficiency with software development tools and languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, or Haskell.
- Knowledge of standard interfaces including Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
- Experience with electronic design automation tools like Altium Designer is preferred.
