2027 Electrical Engineer Intern

About the role#

Anduril Industries is seeking Electrical Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid, on-site internship. Interns will contribute to the design and development of defense technology systems, working across hardware and software boundaries to support active projects and deployments.

What you'll do#

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system-level integration.
• Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning electrical and software domains using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineering teams to deliver functional products.
• Manage involvement in multiple projects concurrently at various stages of development.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school afterward for at least one quarter or semester.
• U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
• Ability to complete the full 12-week, in-person internship.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and current probes.
• Preferred experience includes Altium Designer, C/C++, Python, and familiarity with standard interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, or PCIe.
