About the role#
This part-time position supports the Customer Service Center through the preparation and distribution of donor correspondence. You will assist with office tasks and provide support during specific campaigns. This role requires on-site work and is open to students in Communications, Business Administration, or Logistics.
What you'll do#
- Print letters and mailing labels.
- Label, stuff, and mail correspondence.
- Generate and merge mailing reports.
- Draft correspondence for individual donors.
- Resend returned premiums.
- Provide support during Share and other campaigns.
- Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Attention to detail.
- A methodical and process-oriented approach.
- Experience drafting personalized professional letters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including mail merge functions.
- Ability to work during MBI Spring and Summer breaks.
- Dependability and self-motivation.
Location & details#
- Location: United States (On-site).
- Schedule: 10 to 15 hours per week, typically 2 to 4 days per week for 3 to 5 hours per day.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks involving sitting, standing, and bending.
- Candidates must align with the MBI Christian identity, sign a Statement of Faith, and adhere to Community Standards.
