About the role#
This Finance Analyst Internship supports project-level business management. You will work on tasks related to cost control, payroll, accounts payable, and human capital management. This role involves maintaining financial workflows and assisting with month-end close processes to prepare reporting packages for project management.
What you'll do#
- Manage payroll and HR processes including hiring, transfers, and terminations.
- Oversee purchasing workflows, invoice processing, and accounts payable troubleshooting.
- Handle intercompany and client billing documentation to support cash management.
- Review costs, budget structures, and quantity claiming to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and adjust forecast issues within cost reports.
- Implement EEO and labor laws while following the Corporate Compliance Program.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to adapt to project needs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Capability to access all areas of a construction site in various climates and environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
