About the role#
This part-time position offers a training program focused on the general operation of the kitchen. You will work under the direct supervision of the Kitchen Student Supervisor or their assistant.
What you'll do#
- Learn to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow established procedures for meal preparation.
- Help prepare, serve, and clean up meals as assigned.
- Clean kitchen surfaces and equipment.
- Maintain the kitchen and related areas to meet Chicago Health Department and food service standards.
- Perform other related or special duties when assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time, on-campus student at MBI or MTS.
