About the role#
The Student Nurse (SNAP) position in the Med Surg unit provides an opportunity for nursing students to gain clinical experience under the guidance of licensed professionals. This role supports the patient care team at the Fort Thomas location.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of the first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Not listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
