About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Student Nurse for the Med Surg unit at the Fort Thomas hospital. This position provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide for the personal care and comfort of patients.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
- Perform patient care activities as directed by nursing staff.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of the first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
