About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to complete a training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role prepares you for a future Pharmacist position by deepening your knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient safety, and clinical standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment at all workstations.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care during patient interactions, whether in person, over the phone, or at the drive-thru.
- Solve or escalate patient problems to provide compassionate care.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and performing cycle counts.
- Provide immunization services and educate patients on vaccines, where allowed by law and supported by training.
- Maintain flexibility to work shifts at your home store and other locations within the market.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
- At least 1 year of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Ability to become immunization certified as state regulations are met.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

- Location: Corpus Christi, Texas.
- This is a paid, on-site, part-time position.
- The role follows a rolling term.
