About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for students pursuing a career in pharmacy. You will work on-site under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor. This position involves active participation in clinical services and supports your development of pharmacy practice skills.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Complete all steps required to fill prescriptions while following laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health products.
- Implement company initiatives designed to increase pharmacy profitability.
- Participate in clinical services, including patient counseling, immunizations, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- The ability to adapt to changes in schedule and work priorities.
- A cooperative attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
