About the role#
This internship provides pharmacy students with hands-on practice in a retail setting. You will gain experience in patient counseling, immunizations, and disease state management while working alongside pharmacy teams. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy and prescription knowledge.
- Participate in clinical services and support company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by Texas law.
- Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules.
