About the role#
Saint Luke's North Hospital is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This is a paid, on-site internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Carry out clinical procedures under supervision.
- Support other members of the healthcare team.
- Complete technical tasks once you have received unit competency validation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
