About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic in Crystal River. This is a paid, full-time position for individuals pursuing their clinical hours. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours. We offer administrative support and access to our digital systems to help you manage your caseload.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients.
- Use various psychotherapy and counseling modalities to support patient needs.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and social workers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services in line with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or current progress toward obtaining one.
- Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in an outpatient setting.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Crystal River, Florida.
- The work is on-site, though there is an option to work up to 50% via telemedicine.
- Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday.
- Compensation is $35 to $40 per billable hour.
