About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in West Palm Beach. This position is open to individuals pursuing careers in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. You will work in a clinical environment that supports both in-person and telehealth patient care.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnose conditions, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
- Offer various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services to patients.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and specific therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services to ensure compliance with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or documentation that you are in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

- This role is based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- The position offers a mix of on-site and remote work modalities.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
