Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic network. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to patients aged five and above, including adults, adolescents, and children. Interns operate as independent contractors, offering flexibility in scheduling with a mix of on-site and remote work opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions.
• Deliver diverse modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you'll need#

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

• Location: West Palm Beach, Florida.
• Modality: On-site and remote/telehealth options available.
• Employment Type: Full-time, paid independent contractor position.
• Schedule: Rolling start with flexible hours; office-based appointments available Monday through Thursday, with telehealth options available Friday through Sunday.
