About the role#
Sagent Behavioral Health is hiring an Outpatient Therapy Intern to work at our clinic in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work with a small caseload of clients while completing your formal practicum or internship requirements. We offer shadowing opportunities, internal CEUs, and a monthly stipend of $1,250.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a small caseload of individual clients.
- Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments and person-centered treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, family, or group therapy in an outpatient setting.
- Write clinical progress notes and use assessment tools in line with 245i MN state standards.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings, weekly supervision, and trainings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s degree program for social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
- Completion of a formal practicum or internship through your graduate program.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
- Previous work or volunteer experience in behavioral health is preferred.
