About the role#
As a Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will support clients as they work toward mental health stability and independence. This role focuses on providing personalized, skills-based interventions in home and community settings. You will gain practical experience while contributing to a team dedicated to client care.
What you'll do#
- Provide tailored support to a small caseload of clients.
- Deliver culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and their families in their homes or the community.
- Help design effective treatment plans.
- Assist with ARMHS or CTSS groups and other program tasks.
- Document mental health sessions to ensure compliance with state legislation.
- Attend team meetings and regular supervision.
- Contribute to program development and collaborative care efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited graduate program pursuing a master's degree in social work or clinical counseling.
- You must receive internship credit or be completing a formal practicum through your graduate program.
- Access to a personal vehicle.
- Professionalism and integrity are required.
- Previous work or volunteer experience in behavioral health is preferred.

- This is an on-site position.
- This internship is paid at a starting rate of $18.00 per hour.
