About the role#
Sagent Behavioral Health is looking for an Outpatient Therapy Intern to join our team in East Grand Forks. This position offers a monthly stipend of $1,250 for a full-time schedule. You will work on-site at our outpatient clinic, gaining hands-on experience in a clinical environment while receiving weekly supervision and training.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create, implement, and maintain person-centered treatment plans.
- Complete ongoing clinical documentation in alignment with state standards.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Build and maintain a caseload of clients.
- Collaborate with our clinical team and attend all required staff meetings.
- Use creative interventions to help clients reach their goals.
- Provide consistent customer service to all clients.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
- You must be completing a formal practicum or internship through your graduate program.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all clinical interactions.
- Previous work or volunteer experience in behavioral health is preferred.
