Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern for a summer 2026 position. This full-time, paid role offers the opportunity to work within a network of outpatient mental health clinics. The position supports both remote and on-site work, with the flexibility to engage in telehealth and in-person patient care.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, establish diagnoses, and implement therapeutic interventions for diverse mental health conditions.
• Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered in accordance with company policies.

What you'll need#

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or documentation that you are in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
