About the role#
The Registered Nurse is a member of the Acute Treatment Unit, Stages. You will provide admission review, physical assessment, treatment, and support services to consumers and their families. This role focuses on planning, implementation, and documentation of care while promoting safety and comfort in the therapeutic environment.
What you'll do#
- Review medical eligibility for all referrals in a timely manner.
- Assess client needs, develop solutions, and ensure interventions are implemented.
- Provide case management and clinical interventions.
- Observe, monitor, and record client conditions, reporting changes to the treatment team.
- Assist with crisis intervention as needed.
- Provide health, medication, and psychiatric illness education to clients and families.
- Complete daily shift reports, including incident reports, risk assessments, and medical screenings.
- Oversee medication administration and monitoring by LPN and QMAP staff.
- Manage medical supplies, conduct MAR audits, and track infectious disease reporting.
What you'll need#
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Valid Colorado RN license.
- 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am.
