Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting patient health through clinical programs.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and display empathy for customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
• Align team members around the purpose of patient care and facilitate a culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and precise manual tasks.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including the ability to work nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour
